Two large protea blooms in warm coral-salmon-pink and burnt sienna emerge from deep navy-indigo watercolour darkness. The geometric petals graduate from deep coral at the base through salmon to warm gold at the tips, the centres lit with touches of bright gold suggesting hidden fire within. Dark sage-green leaves frame without overwhelming. The navy background is luminous, layered transparent washes creating oceanic depth, not flat darkness but a living atmosphere.
