The only three-field composition in the collection. Bold burnt orange at the top, rich antiqued gold in the centre, soft luminous warm cream at the base, three horizontal bands descending from intensity to light, held within a cool silver-grey lavender ground. The orange is vivid, the colour of terracotta tiles in raking light. The gold carries the weight of old metal. The cream is the resolution - open, quiet, exhalation.

The mood is warm grandeur tempered by restraint, a Tuscan hill town at sunset. This piece works on wide walls where the three bands can stretch into a cinematic frieze. It suits dining rooms, restaurant walls and living rooms where three tones provide all the colour the space needs.
