Earth memory, tangled deep, the architecture of survival.

A dense web of interlocking roots and branches fills the entire canvas, raw sienna, burnt umber, amber-gold, and charcoal crossing in every direction against glimpses of warm cream ground. There is no center and no edge; the composition continues beyond the frame, as if the viewer has dropped to their knees and pressed their face to the forest floor.

Roots I is the most primal piece in the Botanica collection. It is almost abstract - the botanical subject reveals itself slowly, after a second look. The energy is visceral, closer to Lee Krasner than to any decorative tradition. It works as a statement piece in contemporary lobbies, libraries, executive offices, and any space that values raw authenticity over prettiness.
