The sequel that goes deeper - literally underground.

Where Roots I tangled across the surface in sienna and charcoal, Roots II descends into the earth. The composition is darker, denser, more subterranean: roots winding through soil in burnt umber, raw sienna, and near-black, with occasional flashes of amber-gold where a root catches underground light. The canvas is entirely filled, there is no sky, no horizon, no above. The viewer is invited to see the world from below, where the real architecture of survival happens invisibly.

Roots II is Roots I's more intense sibling. It works in spaces that embrace darkness and depth: Alentejo estate lobbies, wine cellars, private libraries, and contemporary interiors where the statement piece must command the room without needing brightness to do it.
